Liturgy in Neiden

In 2001 we were visited by Archbishop Sergij in connection with the yearly litugy held in St. Georg's chapel in Neiden, On his journey from Paris to Neiden, he made a stop in Hl. Trifon Skita in Hurdal north of Oslo. On the 23rd of August he made a visit to hl. Nikolai Church where vesper were celebrated in addition to a small reception. During the visit to Neiden we also use to visit Sevättijärvi in Finland. The visit there took place on August the 25th. Below you find pictures from the visit to Sevättijärvi and from the liturgy that took place on August the 26th.

Archbishop Sergij is officicating the litugy together with Metropolitan Ambrosius of Oulo, Archimandrit fr. Johannes, clergy and deacons from Finland, Vadsø chamber chiore, Holy Trifon choire from Murmansk and the the choire from Sevättijärvi.

During the events in Neiden visitors and inhabitants of Neiden see the oppotunity to meet.
